DTA is a Writer, Rapper, Producer, DJ, Host, Actor, Curator and Industry Influencer. Inspired by older brothers DJ Maniac (RIP) & DJ Greg G, turntables became his passion. By age 13 he established himself as the go to party DJ in Long Island NY. While rocking parties, he befriended local rapper Erick Sermon who later formed EPMD with Parish Smith. While participating on their debut album, DTA produced 2 singles for MC EZ aka Craig Mack (RIP). Later he decided to enter the DJ Battle scene and after winning several titles, he was awarded the prestigious opportunity to join Prince (RIP) & The NPG.This experience would ultimately reshape his future. Afterwards DTA jumped on world tours with R&B Sensation TCF Crew and (Wutang Group) Grave Diggaz which kept him performing for thousands of fans nightly!
DTA played pivotal roles in several cultural phenomenons such as becoming the Official MTV / P.Diddy “Making The Band'' DJ, being the Host / DJ for Beyonce’s 48 cities World Tour, Hosting various radio shows on Party 105.3, Worldcast Radio, Sirius XM & Power 105.1 (NYC). During this time he was commissioned as the Official DJ for Mixtape Comedy developed by Royale Watkins, hosted by Anthony Anderson, currently in its 15th year. This opportunity has him working with comedy’s elite such as Earthquake, Amy Schumer, Chris Rock, Cedric The Entertainer, Lil Rel, Mike Epps, Tiffany Haddish, JB Smoove, Jerry Seinfield and more.
Continuing the cultural phenomena, DTA traveled as the Official DJ for the U.S. Auto Show. He was then brought in as Kevin Hart’s Super Bowl Halftime House Party DJ performing alongside Dougie Fresh, Ice T, and Quest Love. Soon after he was commissioned to Host / DJ the Heisman Trophy Event at the iconic BB Kings with LL COOL J. 2021 was a proud moment for DTA as he was inducted into the Long Island Music Hall Of Fame. Afterwards he spent time Hosting dates on the I Love The 90’s Tour working with acts like Tone Loc, Rob Base, Vanilla Ice, Color Me Badd and more. Recently DTA became the official DJ for D-Nice’s CQ Comedy Launch which was filled with industry heavyweights. Afterwards he DJ’d at Dave Chappel’s private man cave aka The Barn and at his new club YS Firehouse as well.
DTA is currently touring the globe playing amazing venues while also in the planning stages of Diamond’s Day Party music festival slated to appear in multiple U.S. cities. The rapping doesn’t stop either as he is in process of recording a Radio Friendly Hip Hop Album slated to be released in early 2025. On the media side he is working as a Lead Cast Member on a Positive Reality TV Show "Flawless" and hosts a weekly show called “Planet Of The Tapes” on LL Cool J’s SiriusXM channel Rock The Bells.
